Darren Goddard joined the company in 2008 in dragline field maintenance and advanced through the fill-in program before being promoted to dragline planner and supervisor in 2018. He relocated to Florida in 2021, where he oversaw several major dragline outages and later served as planning supervisor and planning manager. In January 2025, Darren was promoted to maintenance manager, overseeing dragline maintenance and budgets across Florida operations.
With more than 18 years of experience, Darren brings strong expertise in maintenance planning, mechanical systems, equipment management, and large-scale dragline operations. He also serves as president of the Dragline COSMET committee, supporting industry collaboration and safety best practices.
Darren attended Teche Area Vocational School and holds certifications in AWS welding (D1.1), crane and rigging, and the management studies program.
