Kent Britton

Area Manager

Kent Britton joined the company in 2013 as a heavy equipment operator at the Liberty Coal Mine in Mississippi. He began fill-in supervisor training in 2015, became the primary fill-in at Sabine Mine in 2020, and later served as operations supervisor at Ash Grove in Nebraska in 2023. In 2025, Kent was promoted to his current role as area manager. He now oversees Cemex operations in South Florida and all operations on Florida’s west coast, managing relationships with Cemex, Titan and Martin Marietta.

With 12 years of experience, Kent brings expertise in safety management, dragline operations, surface mining and employee leadership.

Kent holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and public administration from Mississippi State University.
