Michelle Lovland joined NACCO in April 2012 as a senior engineer and transitioned to the North American Mining team in 2015 to focus on business development. Since 2021, she has served as engineering manager, leading multidisciplinary teams to design, implement and optimize technical systems across mining operations. She ensures safety, efficiency and compliance while driving growth through client relationships, market expansion and financial modeling.
With 23 years in the mining industry, Michelle is experienced in streamlining operations, enhancing safety and increasing productivity.
Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science in mining engineering from the University of Missouri–Rolla and is a licensed professional engineer in Texas, Florida, Louisiana and New Mexico.
